A girl in her early 20’s, leads several men on a nauseating, yet romantic paper-trail through her manipulative mind and through America (open to filming overseas) on a violent, dramatic, hedonistic adventure on roads that lead to destruction. Further destruction of herself as she feebly attempts to evade her torrential past; and destruction of weak men, who for her, compromise their careers and status, caught in their own greed and lust. An obsessed detective, a college professor, a wondering musician and countless other characters, fall hard for her looks and the act or promise of excess and debauch.

Devin Bloomquist, an actor in Hollywood whose in his mid 30's or older (or a well known actor from France or the UK etc) decides it's time to go into semi-retirement, just a break to collect himself, get out of Hollywood and breathe; and he does just that. He ends up teaching drama at Green Pastures State University. It's a small comfortable town, with about 11 thousand residents or so and it's generally quiet—especially if compared to the local interstate freeway desert, that has a few cheaper homes, abandoned properties and one seedy motel. We'll travel to the motel shortly.
Devin is dating Jodie Hoshea, with an air of nonchalance. She is a professional woman, in her mid to late 30's whose also his unofficial attorney. She wants a simple commitment of boyfriend or girlfriend, at least; he won't even do that, but since she is attached to him, she continues to see him and generally enjoys time with him. As the relationship (oops, better not let Devin hear us calling it that), progresses with time, Jodie grows exceedingly impatient with Devin, and they squabble one day after spending the night together at his leased home. She storms off angry, upset and hurt.
Michelle Jungmann is one hottie. She's best described looking like Elisha Cuthbert and is every guys dream. She's not especially into guys her age so much—she gravitates towards older artsy guys, weird guys, John Waters (I'm a fan), foreign art films and the likes; much of what people at her age or around it (early 20's), don't even know about, much less enjoy or give any effort to understand.
She has split personalities and although a temptress, can be violent. She's been passed from family to family in her youth—was an orphan and never had much family, and has never left Green Pastures.
Michelle's favorite class is Devin's drama and method acting class. She shows promise in it of course, because she is basically crazy, and a little nutty anyway. She falls for Devin in a way, and uses him to behave even more childishly, embark on some wild affair with a “new guy” in town, and maybe be taken away.
Devin is cautious, not so much because of her age, but because he's her teacher and that's kind of taboo and frowned upon. So he avoids her, as much as he can but she pops up at different times and places, and a day after the harsh words with Jodie, he meets Michelle at the local mall and then get's swept up in lust and they end up back at his place.
Devin ends up losing his job at the University, not that he even needs it, but he sorta snaps in a way and decides; after a confrontation at his home with Michelle and Jodie; that detective John even get's

involved in, to leave town, with Michelle and so begins the journey.
John Perkins is the detective whose more or less managed Michelle's life. He was responsible for her becoming an orphan and has always been in her life in some way. Now, he's jealously following Michelle and Devin and keeping an eye on their every move. He's protective because he knows she has mental problems and could be making the wrong choices with boys, men and life in general; and she often is making bad choices, but he's also afraid to lose her in his life. He's not always around her and she doesn't even treat him like a father figure, but he likes to think of her as his daughter—kind of, and he's afraid she'll leave, start a new life, and pay even less attention to him. He has issues, always has.
Michelle and Devin, after running away from Green Pastures; end up meeting up with one of Michelle's internet boyfriends, whose she's been texting all along. She and Devin are at a rest stop and he appears. Michelle explains she wants this younger man, Pete Jareki, (25) and then he and Devin begin a fight in which she has the gun, which Devin managed to knock away from Pete.
She then decides to go with Devin after she refuses to shoot him. Pete takes off, upset, saying she's crazy, but still in love with her. He heads back to wherever his home is. He's abandoned his band for Michelle, who he met on a social networking site. Michelle tells the weak Devin, that she may be slightly crazy, but she loves him and that their run-in with Pete, was merely a test of his love and loyalty for her (some signs of film-noir start to appear).
Michelle and Devin now end up in a smaller town off the desert freeway, with one somewhat run-down motel, filled with seedy characters, failures, addicts and some travelers. A traveling musician, who thinks it's 1984, who plays covers and lame original songs. His name is Rain Cohless, he lives at the motel, but since he owes rent, ends up working for them. He's in his late 30's.
His friend Kevin, whose years younger at about 28, is the Asian-American owner of the motel. He is stern with Rain, but somehow, their friends and he forgives Rain's back rent by having him do chores and such things around the motel. Rain is a wonderer.
He even let's him play gigs at the motel bar/stage. One of Kevin's tenants and Rains fans is the old Miss Duvall, and old woman dying of cancer or something like that....
The other tenants worth mentioning, are Deborah Tiery (43 with definite MILF looks) and her daughter Sarah (24) an aspiring model and actress.
After they get to the motel and check in for the night, Michelle and Devin relax and head for bed. Meanwhile, John is on his way, not sure of exactly where to go; he stumbles on Eddie and Sue Roberts, a senior couple living off the desert freeway, who talk little and see a lot.
John then goes to the motel, get's into an interesting quick-witted conversation with Kevin, who becomes his alley by default. John get's a room and plans to investigate on Michelle and Devin when he's showered and ready.
He calls Kevin, and then the showdown begins.
It mixes with the fact Deborah and Sarah are running with a big bag of cash, from Deborah's gangster boyfriend who looks something like Andy Garcia.
Rain is romancing Sarah and decides to play guardian to the two ladies.
Peter Jarecki shows up and you'll have to read the script to see what else happens.
I will say this though, that a 12 year old girls life was saved 8 years ago by John, the donated organ came from the child's mother who John was responsible for killing; by accident—that child is Michelle.
