THE NYMPH

An original screenplay by Stacy Paul Rugely, based on his novel of the same name.

An American journalist and writer named Jason Westmore, is on hiatus, and goes to a small town in Norway, by suggestion from his editor to reflect, get inspiration and creativity for a novel. When he gets there, he meets locals into some seemingly  silly fairy tales that outsiders and some locals just laugh at.

He also meets a woman whose interested in him, and his feelings for her are mutual. Her name is Suzanna.

He’s more distant than she is, because he’s been hurt recently and is trying to focus on his novel.

One day, he sees another woman in the woods while at a cabin to get away from town, be alone and write in the stillness of nature.

She is the fitting description of a woman described by legends told in the town, of a woman who lives in the woods, from another time or place.

She is scared and cautious of him, as he is of her, but they both fall in love.

So both women like him.......and he thinks he's crazy since he sees the mystery woman that no one else sees.

The woman in town thinks he's using the folkore to distance himself from a serious relationship, and she grows vengeaful and angry with him.

He juggles his feelings for her and the woman in the woods, the book he's supposed to write, and his sanity.

Then what happens? Find out....
